My Sugar Bugs: For my friend
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/2012/09/for-my-friend.html
Saturday, September 8, 2012. I started this blog post days ago. I have written, erased and rewritten it a hundred times. I just can't find the words. That's probably because there are no words. Nothing I can say is going to help you feel better. Nothing I can say is going to heal your heart right now. But I want SO badly to try. I'll be there, friend. We will ALL. Be there for you. Any time. Day or night, we will be there. Because we love you and that's what friends do. 9829; SCL and MTW ♥.

My Sugar Bugs: Diabetes Lingo
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/p/diabetes-lingo.html
You will probably see a lot of the following phrases on here so I wanted to make a list for the people who are NOT fluent in "D Speak". Hopefully this will help you understand my posts a little better. The type of insulin Bumble Bee uses. A continuous small dose of insulin given by the pump every hour to keep insulin in the body. Blood Glucose (Blood sugar). The insulin given after consuming anything containg carbs and/or given to correct a high BG. The Diabetes Online Community. Our T1 online family.

My Sugar Bugs: Share and Don’t Share
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/2013/05/share-and-dont-share.html
Monday, May 13, 2013. Share and Don’t Share. Often our health care team only sees us for about 15 minutes several times a year, and they might not have a sense of what our lives are really like. Today, let’s pretend our medical team is reading our blogs. What do you wish they could see about your and/or your loved one's daily life with diabetes? On the other hand, what do you hope they don't see? Dear Dr D,. I know this isn't what this blog post is supposed to be about, but I just wanted to say thank you...

http://www.mysugarbugs.com/2012/08/well-hello-there.html
Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Well, hello there! Just a quick post to bring my blog back to life. It's been a while. A long while. But I miss writing. I keep having possible blog posts pop up in my head, but I haven't typed any of them out. I feel like I have a little more time to do so now, so here I am. Just to update. The kiddo's are dong well. I now have a 10th grader, 7th grader, 3rd grader and 1st grader. They are growing up way too fast. I don't know how to slow that down. August 15, 2012 at 10:32 AM.

My Sugar Bugs: In the middle
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/2011/04/in-middle.html
Monday, April 11, 2011. She's not RIGHT in the middle, but I'm sure she feels like it sometimes. Butterfly, my sweet, quiet, loving girl. She's not the teenager who I worry about constantly. She's not the child with the extra needs that keeps me busy 24/7. She's not the super clingy "baby" who demands attention all the time. She's just right there in the middle, loving any extra attention she can get. They have good fruit cups! She said. She'd choose fruit over desserts any day. We don't get many days wi...

My Sugar Bugs: Goodbye Sweet Friend
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/2013/10/goodbye-sweet-friend.html
Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Nothing I say here is going to be adequate enough. I'm still in shock, to be honest. Words fail me. I don't blog anymore, but right now I feel I need to. I want to. Just this once. You were a beautiful person, Shamae. Inside and out. Things weren't always easy for you with the health issues your girls faced and the health issues you faced. But you were always SO strong. No matter what was going on in your life, you were always there to support others. HUGS) Very strong indeed!

My Sugar Bugs: Can I come back?
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/2013/01/can-i-come-back.html
Friday, January 25, 2013. Can I come back? It's been a while, I know. I only posted a few times in the last year for important things, but not very often. Working full time now has me busy. Spending every extra second with my kiddos comes first. But there's still a little "me" time in there somewhere, so I want to come back. I miss blogging, even if I sometimes don't have much to say. In the past few months we've had an almost 2 week hospital stay for Bee, a visit to CA to see a good friend. I love getti...

My Sugar Bugs: Meet The Family
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/p/meet-family.html
My name is Kris and my husband is Scott. We just celebrated our 15th anniversary! I wouldn't trade one day of our life together. We make a pretty good team! This is "Butterfly". On Oct 3rd she will be 7 years old. She enjoys cheerleading, playing with her Littlest Pets and she loves ALL animals. Especially cats. When she grows up she wants to be a Veterinarian. No surprise there! She is my quiet one. Content to play alone. but she is also very cuddly and loves to snuggle. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

My Sugar Bugs: Dear JDRF and Camp Soaring Eagle...
http://www.mysugarbugs.com/2011/11/dear-jdrf-and-camp-soaring-eagle.html
Sunday, November 13, 2011. Dear JDRF and Camp Soaring Eagle. Back in July, we received an email from JDRF. About a Diabetes Camp at Camp Soaring Eagle. Coming in November. I hesitated at first, like I have the past 2 years when I thought about sending Bee to the week-long Camp AZDA. During the summer. But this was only 3 days. I could handle 3 days? I actually took that first step. The next step was to fax the paperwork to JDRF and then wait to see if she was one of the twenty kids accepted. But this wee...
