An American's Adventures in Switzerland. Honeymoon Safari – Part 3: Ngorongoro Crater. The lodge also grew its own coffee. After a cozy evening relaxing at the lodge and enjoying a delicious dinner, we got up early the next morning for our game drive in the crater. We saw hippos in a few different places. I love watching them! Lunch break by the hippos 🙂. The lions in this park were much lazier than in Tarangire – probably because it was much hotter during the day. One even found shade under a Jeep.
