Wednesday, August 26, 2009. It's Off to Work They Go! The kid's outdoor swing set desperately needed to be re-sealed and stained. I have been so crazy painting the entire house from top to bottom I thought that I'd never get to it, so the kids volunteered! They did a pretty good job and got 1/3 of the way done but had to stop. Tuesday, April 13, 2010. We went to the Poppy Fields in Lancaster. We looked around at the beautiful Poppies. After we went around looking in the Reserve, we went back in our car, and out onto private property. (Because on the Reserve you couldn't walk around in the Poppy Fields, you had to stay on the trail.) So we got out of our car and walked around in the Fields outside of the Reserve. Thursday, September 10, 2009. First Day of Home School. Charlotte's first attempt at writing her name in cursive! They do not do printing at ABEKA, only cursive from the beginning. Art class taught her how to make a cute bunny with grass and carrots to color! Here's my little Miss Independent working hard :). Scott is excited and fully engaged! No wondering off into space or stubbornly not finishing work. Yes, it's only day one but it gives me hope :). Hope it lasts :). I have to help the two younger one...

Thursday, January 28, 2010. Life With Six Kids :). The baby (Jefferson 2 1/2 mo.) happened to be smiling as his big brother Scott read to him! Sam's first attempt at making eggs solo! He did a great job! We did aerobics for 3 days straight and then the kids said that they hated it! Now that we haven't done it for 3 days they want to start it up again! Nina wanted to hold the baby while doing aerobics for a bit so I decided to snap some photos since my hands were free! Assume the Saturday position!

Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Jack wanted his hair cut and it was long over due too! But the baby won't let me put him down. Even when he sleeps, if I put him down he wakes right up and cries. I hate it when they cry so I cut Jack's hair with the baby asleep in the sling over my shoulder. Jack was so good while I cut his hair. He was watching the new Ice Age movie. He loves the movie soooo. Much that he thanked Heavenly Father for the Ice Age movie in our family prayer this morning. All done and no tears:).

Monday, June 22, 2009. Me , Jenn, and Belinda on my first girls trip with friends and first time at Yosemite. Not a lot of wild life so it was cool to see and I had to take a picture. Almost all the wild life we saw, I got them on film (some deer, squirrels, and birds). It was a really short trip there and back when you don't have a car full of kids. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Teaching the Kids to Sew. Needless to say she is using this to pass off a 10 hour project in her personal progress book. Up above is her second one! She is really getting the hang of sewing and wants to do more. I started from pattern making, to cutting to sewing! She did great.
