My online lesson plans.thoughts.everyday life.my teaching fix. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Another summer day with a list of things to try on pinterest :). This was simple and quick. Ingredients: cornstartch, water and food coloring. Mix 2T water with 2T cornstartch and your choice of color. Take it outside and ta-da! The best part is knowing it's safe when Sawyer puts the paintbrush to his mouth.which happens a lot! The "paint" dried fast and washed off really easily, too. Painting a smiley face :).

After teaching pre-k, kindergarten and first grade, i consider myself no pro, but one who has expereinced lots of trying times in the classroom. now, i am experiencing those same situations and lots more as a mom. the reason for the blog is to offer ideas and hopefully get some from you as well! All you need is all purpose flour and baby oil. 4 cups flour and 1 (1/2) cup baby oil. Mix it together and you're done! I was surprised at how well the kids played with this for a looonnngg time.
