Whoa! What Happened? | MyTechBubble

https://mytechbubble.wordpress.com/2012/10/28/whoa-what-happened

A Technical Blog on Things I Work On…. October 28, 2012. It has been awhile since I have posted anything, so I thought I would do something tonight. I must tell you it is busy with two active kids anyway. I am still working Splunk and learning new things everyday. My latest discovery was how to find out if a Forwarder is reading a file or if the Tailing Processor is reading a file. In this blog entry I learned that I can do this. And this will tell me if a file has been read are in process.

A Technical Blog on Things I Work On…. My Splunk Install Experience… Things I learned. Splunk – Heavy Forwader issues. My Splunk Experience Continued…. July 31, 2012. There are a lot of configuration files🙂 to learn, but that being said things are fairly organized. The deployment server is a useful tool but can be interesting to config. This is the order in which splunk applies it’s configs. 1 through 4. 4 being the one that trumps all other configs. 1 etc system default *.conf. Enter your comment here.

Math, Computing and more…. Text utils – Clipboard managers. Are the category of application which is built on top of clipboards(for someone who is new to computers,. In your modern computers which saves the things when you a say cut/copy and it will give a copy of what it has copied when you say paste.). This post is just a suggestion on one of my favorite clipboard manager,. In a typical clipboard when you copy a content it will replace the existing content. Also recommend a plugin called Clipx Stickies.
