Blue oasis in a big red state: Apparently Extortion is OK
http://blueoasisinabigredstate.blogspot.com/2011/04/apparently-extortion-is-ok.html
Blue oasis in a big red state. Monday, April 25, 2011. Apparently Extortion is OK. According to an Austin American Statesman. For instance Planned Parenthood also provides anemia testing, STD testing, PAP smears, help with quitting smoking, physicals, even flu vaccines! Not really I mean I loved my residents I really did, but that was part of the job of taking care of them. If I hadn’t done my job correctly I would of gotten fired at the least! Texas Chitchat: May 2011
http://texaschitchat.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 13, 2011. In the blog "Texas State and Local Government", Ross McEwen posted an entry titled "Drinking Age". That should have been a controlled environment. It didn't do anyone any good, it left kids with brain damage, broken bones, and partial blindness. We should all just be grateful that no one died. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Weird but Effective
http://goverernoftexas.blogspot.com/2015/09/backin-high-school-were-you-ever-late.html
Monday, September 21, 2015. Back in high school, were you ever late to class and just brushed it under the rug because, "tardies don't count"? Interesting enough, tardies do count and they add up into absences and you get charged with truancy. In the article Texas Turns Away From Prosecuting Truants. By Claudio Sanchez he explains that truancy has been around for too long-20 years! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Tx a State of Mind. The Blood Red State. http://kscottgovernmentblog.blogspot.com/2011/05/whats-difference-between-18-and-21.html
Kelsey Scott's Texas Government Blog. Friday, May 13, 2011. What's the Difference between 18 and 21? An age is yet a number right? Not quite when you’re teetering between 20 and 21. For Americans, one of the most monumental birthdays someone will have is their 21. They are legally able to drink. If you were to go to any other country, you would find that a 21. Birthday isn’t anything special. Other countries allow a citizen to drink once they turn 18. That makes sense though right? There is a plus side t...

Weird but Effective: November 2015
http://goverernoftexas.blogspot.com/2015_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 2, 2015. You know you live in Austin when you measure the distance somewhere in minutes, not miles. The time of day also is your deciding factor if you really want to go somewhere because the traffic is just horrendous. The toll lane is supposed to have a goal of keeping the traffic flow at at least 50 miles per hour. Sounds awesome, right? Sure, adding more lanes to MoPac will be awesome for the commute but that doesn't change all these folks moving here. It has been noticed that people...
