8230;in pursuit of wild things. Sunday Journal: Assessments and Recovery. The kids with their piano teacher on Christmas Day. Two weeks have gone by since sitting down to write a weekly post. I managed to catch a rather nasty head cold just before the end of the year. Headaches every day, congestion, sinus infection, and feeling like my face had been unkindly smashed with a wooded board. I spent most of New Year’s Day in bed and have very gradually improved since then. Buffalo Trace and deep blue sky.
