Just a place to write about the view! May 22, 2016. Have you ever wondered why we wear our badge on the left side of our chest or why it looks like a shield? The very word Police came from the Greek word Polis which was the word for city. These guardians were thought synonymous with the city they fought to protect. Ask the modern day policeman where our name came from or what is the history of the shield they wear on their chest, so few have ever taken the time to understand or to care. May 2, 2016.

Have you ever watched the grass on a cloudy day and seen the way the shadows glide quietly across as the clouds block the sun’s rays? Have you ever been looking at the sun and as soon as the shadow comes over you, you feel the chill as the air suddenly changes?
