Monday, May 26, 2008. We went to the ocean with good friends of ours for Memorial Day. It was so nice to get away and relax. Hope had a great time playing with the kids and Luke was amazing throughout the entire weekend. He is such a mellow baby, but I was shocked that he stayed on the same schedule- even while sleeping in a tent! Looks like a fun trip, love the pictures! Asher is ready for the ROUND UP! Saturday, November 10, 2007. How does this thing work, anyway? So since I'm kind of new to this whole blog-thing, I can't seem to get the welcome message to appear at the top - it's at the bottom! The Trade" - part 2. So as part 2 of "The Trade", Sean and Shayla got to have a little daddy-daughter time. They swam in the pool (it turns out Shayla is part-fish). After that, it was time to hang out pool-side in the shade. This is a picture of the luggage we took for 4 adults...

I'll post better ones later. The counter tops are so beautiful.you just can't stop looking at them! The granite is full of specks of color and movement - it truly is amazing. Asher is ready for the ROUND UP! Saturday, September 27, 2008. Mr Asher is FINALLY here! Well after taking his sweet time and arriving a few days late, our little boy, Asher Owen Tangen. Finally made his big appearance! He's a good boy - we are smitten! He was 8lbs, 6oz, and 20in long. Labor was much easier this time around, and so was the recovery, other than a bruised tailbone - ouch! We had a bunch of people praying that Asher wouldn't arrive until the 6 th. God certainly does have a sense of humor!

Asher is ready for the ROUND UP! Friday, November 9, 2007. Our trip to Palm Springs. Wow - we can't believe our week is already over! We had so much fun in the sun.we spent time playing in the pool every day. We got to see Lori and Polly, and Shayla got to splash around- not only in the pool, but in Samme's water bowl! What's a mom to do? The weather was wonderful - right around 90 every day. Azure blue skies and picture-perfect palm trees everywhere you look. Ahhh.I miss it already! Welcome to our BLOG!

Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Hope had her dance recital on Saturday. Her class was dressed up like Minnie Mouse, and they were celebrating Mickey's birthday. They all looked super cute (and so tiny! Up on that stage. I couldn't help but get tears in my eyes watching her first performance. Here are pictures of Hope in her outfit and with friends and family.
