The Little Lentz: Fifth Grade - Adjectives
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2014/08/fifth-grade-adjectives.html
Monday, August 25, 2014. Fifth Grade - Adjectives. I know I don't write much - I got behind and then I got lazy. But today just seemed memorable and I wanted to capture it. First day of Fifth grade. It was perfect, awesome." The two adjectives my fifth grader used to describe the first day of school. The smile and joy on her face as she plopped down in the car warmed my heart. I tried to capture it with a blurry picture. Posted by Why Not. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Fifth Grade - Adjectives.

The Little Lentz: July 2012
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 31, 2012. The Month of Mason (AKA - July). I know, after you read about June you think.but how could it possibly get any better? The answer to that, just add Mason. Just quickly, before I get into the details, there is already talk and some initial planning for Mason to come again this next summer. So yes, in summary, a very fun and successful summer month. Now, the details. Here is her grumpy face when we arrived. Here is her grumpy attitude while fishing. This was the slide. Ellie and Mas...

The Little Lentz: June 2012
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2012. Summer continues (June, part II). In June we also celebrated Father's day. Ellie and I did some shopping for both Kevin and her dad. We had debated between a new TV or a drill for Kevin. I think Ellie and I were both leaning toward the TV, but then Kevin mentioned something about it being a frivolous purchase (Um, hello - do you know me? And isn't that what presents are for? That night Ellie wanted her hair in little buns. She said she was now the evil princess Leia. I as...And s...

The Little Lentz: Something Missing in October
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2012/10/something-missing-in-october.html
Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Something Missing in October. On October first we celebrated our first official fall harvest. We harvested our pumpkins, our potatoes (or pots as we call them) and our carrots. This was our largest pumpkin. It was so heavy, Ellie could only hold onto it for a minute. We ended up with five pumpkins for our porch. Ellie claimed the largest one for when it would be time to carve them into jack-o-lanterns. Kevin officially earned his green thumb (and other fingers). Friday night,...

The Little Lentz: The last day of summer - 2013
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-last-day-of-summer-2013.html
Monday, August 26, 2013. The last day of summer - 2013. The last day of summer. On the last day of summer Ellie did something I never thought she'd do this summer. I couldn't have been more excited. (Likely because this was how I spent most of my childhood.) I helped her get the skis on nice and tight and then held her in the water (which gave me so many memories of my dad doing this for me) and then I coached her through it. On her first try she was up! Posted by Why Not. The last day of summer - 2013.

The Little Lentz: November 2012
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 30, 2012. This November post is going to be short and sweet, just like its title. November had its warm days and its cold ones. Ellie had her crazy days and her normal ones. Earlier in the month we were able to take advantage of some of the warmer days. This is outside on the first Friday in November. Our store trips now often included these exact two lines, "I want this." "Add it to your Christmas list.". I finished my gallery project and then we decorated for Thanksgiving. On the 9th -...

The Little Lentz: November 2013
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 12, 2013. January 2013 - A kick in the pants. We struggled to get back into work and school. Homework became a never ending battle. Ellie sold Girl Scout cookies, we went snow shoeing for the first time. We got a visit from Uncle Jonathan. We relished in memories of December. March 2013 - Ellie turned 9! August 2013 - Uncle Jed got married! And in the famous words of Paul Harvey (which totally reminds me of my dad)."And now you know, the rest of the story.". Posted by Why Not.

The Little Lentz: April 2012
http://thelittlelentz.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, April 30, 2012. The rest of April, 2012. April was spring break, so we took advantage of the time off of school to go to Chicago and Ohio to see family we hadn't seen in over a year! On of my traditions was to get an Easter dress for church, so I gave Ellie an Easter dress and we got ready to go to church. Ellie and Ethan all ready to go in their Easter Sunday best! The next day (April 9) we experienced another form of greatness - the Chicago style dog. Ellie missed out by having chicken stri...
