Serendipty 4 My T Mom. Our Story Beetles and Bees. Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Snowman in Southeast AL. It finally happened. My 40 year dream. We received enough snow to make a snowman and play in the snow. 6 inches and it was a huge HIT. We played for hours and we soaked our clothes several times but who cared. It was SNOWING in ALABAMA. Serendipty 4 My T Mom. Our Story Beetles and Bees. Friday, November 20, 2009. Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Nature and fried pickles. This week at "Beetles and Bees", we have been busy with the wonderful outdoors. The temperture as dropped and we are loving the low humidity. We spent Monday using a new curriculum I discovered online. It was developed by "Shining Dawn Books" and they have many nature studies to choose. I bought "Peaceful Ponds" and We love it. Have any of you ever eaten fried pickles?

Both David and I enjoyed the views but we were both sick with a terrible virus. We spent very little money on food and we didn't shop but we relaxed and saw some amazing scenery. Serendipty 4 My T Mom. Our Story Beetles and Bees. Sunday, February 21, 2010. No more snow in Alabama. After spending all afternoon with a chainsaw(hubbie) and rakes and four trailer loads of limbs and pinecones I have decided I no longer want snow in L.A. we worked a long hard time yesterday just to be able to see the ground yesterday. Those limbs were the size of some of my trees. I have been planting bulbs for the upcoming spring. While recovering I will scrapbook and finish some quilts and read.

I have been fortunate and blessed to have traveled 6 continents and 28 countries and 1/2 of the United States. I wish I had better camera equipment for much of my travels.
