In April/May 2004 I visited Cuba. In three weeks I travelled from the eastern part all the way to the western part of Cuba, finishing in Havana. Thinking of Cuba, one pictures an image of sigars, rum, old American cars and the ever present music. Well, in reality this is also true. Cuba is a very diverse country, with its three mountain ranges, colonial cities and beaches.

Even the first time I sat in an airplane. Ghana is not a country most people think of when they go on holiday, but it is definitely worthwhile.

Starting in the Argentinean capital, Buenos Aires, we went south along the eastern shore line to Ushuaia. After visiting Mana Pools and Vic. Falls in Zimbabwe during my trip to Zambia in September 2006. I went back for nearly 3 weeks in May/June 2007. Starting in Johannesburg we spent two days in Mapungubwe National Park located at the confluence of the Shashe and Limpopo Rivers, where three countries unite: Botswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe, before crossing the South Africa/Zimbabwe border at Beit Bridge. I made this trip with Outback Africa.

Arches National Park (USA). We drove through the well known National Parks of the Western USA and along the coast on Highway 1 from San Francisco to Los Angelos. We went Island hopping on the Azores.
