My travels with Ozzie. September 12, 2012. Ullapool, no dogs allowed. On my 2012 road trip around Scotland I stopped off in Ullapool to do a bit of sightseeing and to grab a bite to eat. Unfortunately the first place I tried (the Argyll Hotel. Had stopped serving lunches early (contrary to the signs outside). Had they still been serving, dogs were more than welcome. It took 4 more tries before I eventually found somewhere we were both welcome (the Seaforth.

Almost my local given the proximity to my flat, The Ivy is a great place to eat and drink. The food has always been good and the staff are always really helpful and pleasant. Well worth a visit. My travels with Ozzie. September 12, 2012. Scotland road trip 2012. Recently I took a trip around Scotland (in my new car ;-) . From Glasgow to Oban to Portree (Skye) to Ullapool to Aviemore and back home again. For each nights stay, I booked myself in to hotels that all called themselves “dog friendly”. The reality was that some merely tolerated dogs, whilst others welcomed them with open arms. Day 1 - Oban. The Wide Mouthed Frog. Day 2 - Portree, Isle of Skye. Unfortunately dogs were just tolerated....

My travels with Ozzie. September 14, 2012. A special thank you has to go to http:/ www.fannytrollopes.co.uk/. They opened the restaurant specially for my agency ( http:/ www.alienationdigital.co.uk/. At lunch time today so we could say bon voyage to one of my staff as he heads off with his girlfriend to travel the world. It is his favourite Glasgow restaurant and they let us bring Ozzie.
