Livin' the Bigg Life. A family of three with bigg plans! Tuesday, May 15, 2012. Wow It's been a little while since our last post. I guess things got pretty busy. We both finished up our last semester at BYU, graduated, packed up all of our belongings (sans some furniture), and moved to the East Coast. Woah! We'll back up a bit and recap some of our exciting transitions and highlight what we'll be up to in the next few months. We had so much fun during graduation! I was so surprised and honored! We had a ...

Livin' the Bigg Life: September 2012
http://livinthebigglife.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Livin' the Bigg Life. A family of three with bigg plans! Wednesday, September 5, 2012. Well, Here We Are! This post is long overdue, especially since we've been in Charlottesville almost a month! Wow, the time really flew by! Moving is always stressful, but you finally get to the point when you've almost figured out where to hang all your pictures and you can take a few moments to pause. So far, I've joined the local chamber orchestra and signed on with a group that helps adults improve their writing and...

Livin' the Bigg Life: December 2012
http://livinthebigglife.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Livin' the Bigg Life. A family of three with bigg plans! Thursday, December 6, 2012. So last night before we went in for our ultrasound, we decided to try a few different gender prediction tests. We're curious and empirical, so we're going to give you the low down on each of them. Then you, as the educated reader, can decide which ones are most accurate. 1 How the baby is carried (high=girl, low=boy): BOY. 2 Heartbeat (under 140=boy, above 140=girl): GIRL. 3 Cravings (sweet=girl, salty/sour=boy): GIRL.

Two Big G's and Five Little Ones : I Don't Know Much...
http://rachelgalbraith.blogspot.com/2015/08/i-dont-know-much.html
Two Big G's and Five Little Ones. Monday, August 10, 2015. I Don't Know Much. Let me just start out with something my sister said to me as we spoke over the phone last week,. I don't know anybody like you.". I know that there are people on the other side of the veil who are fully invested in our lives here on earth, and they are closer than we know. If we are still, and in tune, we can feel them. They are helping us in ways we never imagined. And because I want to protect the privacy of the people I love.

Two Big G's and Five Little Ones : November 2014
http://rachelgalbraith.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Two Big G's and Five Little Ones. Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Bumps In the Road. The past few weeks have not been promising on the adoption front. In fact, they have been extremely discouraging. Let me give you a little taste of what that means:. To ask anyone for money ever. I cried. I also felt grateful that we had the money to cover our expenses, but still, I cried over my adoption fund disappearing. Until then, I hope Heavenly Father can continue to be patient with me. Livin' the Bigg Life: A Quick Trip to Chicago
http://livinthebigglife.blogspot.com/2014/08/a-quick-trip-to-chicago.html
Livin' the Bigg Life. A family of three with bigg plans! Sunday, August 3, 2014. A Quick Trip to Chicago. While we are in Indianapolis this summer, we are only three hours from Chicago- so we had to go at least once. I think the Windy City is definitely one of the more underrated big cities. First of all, the skyline is totally impressive, especially coming in from the south. So what did we do in Chicago? First Stop: Chicago Style Pizza! Oops, sorry John! He was probably waving at our server. We just had...

Livin' the Bigg Life: April 2012
http://livinthebigglife.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Livin' the Bigg Life. A family of three with bigg plans! Wednesday, April 4, 2012. One evening, with time on our hands and ambition to culture-ify ourselves, we decided to walk up to the art museum and look at the new Islamic Art exhibit. The play was set in the 1940's, and besides the novelty of hearing Shakespeare's lines in a Chicago accent, there was a live band playing classics like "Pennsylvania 6 5000". By the Zombies stuck in our heads, and a new-found appreciation for disco balls. Event If you'r...
