Well, usually they aren't surprises because I'm the one who bought them, but still, it feels like a surprise. Here are a couple of my treats I've received. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Sharing from Our Vacation. We took an amazing vacation last week as you could see from my previous post. I will share more pictures with you of our journey and, although I am taking these out of order, they are some of the wonderful things I saw during our stop in New Orleans. During our stay we investigated pricing for these buildings/apartments. We saw a few for sale and, while they are old, they are not cheap. Although, it would be a little difficult to maneuver in the dark.

Tuesday, December 29, 2009. It's my beautiful daughter Claire's birthday today. I can't believe she is already 14. She was a surprise baby (found out about the pregnancy on my 30th birthday! A double whammy). I wasn't happy about it, but had I known the gift I was being given, I would have been overjoyed beyond words. She is my proof that God knows what I need more than I do, ten times over. She has been such a blessing in my life and the source of so many happy moments I love her more than I can express!

Sunday, August 16, 2009. This has been a crazy summer. I have fallen so behind on my blog, artfire shop, the only thing I've been able to keep up with is my Etsy shop. The kiddos go back to school next week and I have plans to get busy again after they are gone. We'll see how that goes. Just wanted to share this pic of my dog. Friday, December 4, 2009. Here are some pictures of our snow day here in Pearland, Texas. While some of you may be up to your knees in snow, this is a once-in-a-year-if-we-are-lucky type occurrence. Maybe it was from not being around grandparents and those that were much older than my parents. I never got comfortable around those much older than me until I met my husband and spent time with his grandparents. I laughed out loud, really loud, and had to cover my mouth. I absolutely love that! I love old people!
