Musings on design, garden, food, travel and life. Last year, the day before I ran and walked a very hilly half-marathon in Bethlehem, PA, I read Running Like a Girl, an absolutely charming and inspiring book by British journalist Alexandra Heminsley. After a decidedly un-athletic number of years, Heminsley decided to take up running. Her story, from her first one-mile run (when she was […]. August 9, 2015. What I'm Thinking About. My View From 'Hudson View'
My View From 'Hudson View'. My semester-long adventure in the Big Apple. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. So it seems like I have a habit of failing to conclude my blogs once I move on to my next endeavor. My View from Merida
My View from Merida. Friday, November 25, 2011. Sargasso on the beach. I was drinking coffee on the porch and saw 9 Mexican ladies walking along the beach collecting some seaweed and putting it in large burlap bags.
