My View From Right Field

My View From Right Field. Thursday, March 22, 2012. I work in the Peoples Republic of Cambridge, MA which often makes me a bit of a fish out of water as a 50-something, right wing leaning libertarian type trying to exist in the most liberal three square miles on the planet. Needless to say 99 out of every 100 bumper stickers I see escalate my already high blood pressure. Of course, has multiple Whole Foods stores which were created in part to appeal to its type of local citizenry. Those mini-tables at th...

The Cramer Lemon: November 2012

http://thecramerlemon.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html

Friday, November 30, 2012. The Tempeh Can't Wait. Shortly afterwards, when Rob had made her eggs and vegetables for breakfast, she looked up and asked him, "But where's the tempeh? Tuesday, November 13, 2012. Yesterday while Olive was recounting our trip to Europe (as she often does), I asked her if she drove a car in Austria. "No! I drove in Vienna! Here are some highlights (as told by me; I'm sure Rob and Olive have their own accounts):. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I live with my husband, Rob, and our ...

The Cramer Lemon: Our Wonderful 2012

http://thecramerlemon.blogspot.com/2013/01/our-wonderful-2012.html

Tuesday, January 1, 2013. The last year has got to be the best I've ever had, which is saying a great deal because I seem to remember 2009 and 2010 being two years that were pretty hard to top. But now that I have have my Rob and Olive, the two things that made those years so completely wonderful, things can only go up from there. Been a role I imagined myself filling. And I love it! We're eager to see what changes, big and small, 2013 will bring to our little family olive oil business. I had what was, w...

The Cramer Lemon: May 2013

http://thecramerlemon.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 20, 2013. I've been finding it hard to complete blog posts lately (I've started many! Between caring for a 3 year-old and 3 month-old and readying our store to open for business in the coming month, but I had to share this footage. I captured today. Snaker, as we've taken to calling Marlowe (Olive gave her the nickname and it stuck), gave me her first real laugh yesterday so we've been having fun getting her to keep the chuckles coming. Oh, she's mighty sweet! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Cramer Lemon: Welcome Home, Marlowe!

http://thecramerlemon.blogspot.com/2013/02/welcome-home-marlowe.html

Saturday, February 23, 2013. Welcome Home, Marlowe! More As I watched Olive grow and develop, seeing the type of person she was becoming, how much she had to give, I saw that she needed a sibling; we needed another child. I just had to make Rob believe this as strongly as I did. A few weeks after approaching him with my life-changing request, the giving husband that he is, he agreed. February 27, 2013 at 5:54 AM. Heather, thank you for sharing your birth story. You are such a powerful mother! 1/13/14 - 5...

The Cramer Lemon: February 2013

http://thecramerlemon.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html

Sunday, February 24, 2013. And Then There Was a Three Year-Old. But we all enjoyed our dinner then returned home and cozied up on the couch with a big bowl of popcorn and watched half of Disney's Robin Hood. I think she had a really nice day. How gleefully she greeted her birthday! Holding that duckie Marlowe - one of her favorite things to do as a big sister. Pleased with her dinner - veggie sausage topped with relish and spicy mustard (that had to be scraped off) and fries. More love for that little one.

The Cramer Lemon: December 2012

http://thecramerlemon.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html

Monday, December 24, 2012. We got a later start getting to Maryland for Christmas this year; our plan was to leave when I got off work last night but a family-wide flu delayed us till this morning. Boy,. Was it a nasty bug we caught! While Rob worked. There was nothing Christmasy about it. Monday, December 10, 2012. December with the Cramers. It was nice to have here there for a few hours so she could experience my workplace and meet some of my friends. She replied. She's so filled with joy so much o...

My View From Midway USA

My View From Midway USA. Sunday, April 5, 2015. Not really. Because with open carry you did not have to go through a safety class or have any kind of training. But in concealed carry you had to pay to go to a class. Then pay for a background check and license fee (total around $300) before you were able to get a permit. Do I think this new law is good? When this new law goes into effect will I carry concealed? Thursday, January 1, 2015. I saw this happen right before my eyes. I have always been a bit rel...

My View from My Window

My View from My Window. Whatever window that may be. Friday, June 6, 2014. Look How Far I've Come. The new kid in class. The shy, quiet girl. The last one chosen. The child of divorce. The self-conscious, low self-esteem teenager. The insecure, the unsure. The unaware and naïve. The new bride laying aside any dreams of her own, wanting to please. No opinion of her own, waiting to hear then follow. The young mother - not ready. The stay at home mom. The taxi driver to practices and games. The fan, so proud.

My View From Paris | Reading, writing, and exploring history (and life) in Paris

My View From Paris. Reading, writing, and exploring history (and life) in Paris. No Camera = No Photos (i.e. how to choose which new Canon to buy). December 8, 2011. Prior to this, I had never broken, dropped, or otherwise killed an expensive electronic or other similar belonging. So the whole episode has been fairly traumatic. Damn that hard Jerusalem stone…Next post will hopefully surely be headed by a new photograph taken by a new camera. Fingers crossed. December 7, 2011. Which is really a must-visit...

My View From Tanner Creek

My view from Tanner Creek is an inspirational, editorial, personal opinion blog. My passion is for every person on the planet to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Monday, December 25, 2017. When God’s “Yes” is Second Best. Jesus came to earth to tell us personally that God is not our enemy. He is our Heavenly Father and loves us unconditionally—regardless of whether or not we deserve it. He is not trying to defeat us but to help us succeed. His goal is not to harm us but to help us. God is on our side.

Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Picket Fence Flower Cupcakes. These lovely spring-time cupcakes are easy to make, and are so yummy! They would be great for, Easter, Mother's Day or just because it's spring :). The idea is to make them look like they came straight from the garden. I used a chocolate base to make it look like soil, but if you can find brown cupcake papers, you could use any flavor of cake you'd like. The picket fence wrappers are what really completes the look of the cupcakes. So cute! Pour ginge...

My View From The Bleachers

My View From The Bleachers. Wednesday, January 8, 2014. What I like most is getting in a whole body workout and thoroughly enjoying every minute of it. By the time class was over my hair was even dripping with sweat. It felt good. One of the mini challenges this week presented by the Sisterhood was to write 3 nice things about ourselves every day this week. Well, I'm going to have to give that some thought. 1 I think I am a pretty darned good mom. Saturday, January 4, 2014. Thursday, January 2, 2014.
