Happy spaces... - Mama Says
http://mamasays.weebly.com/2/post/2011/04/happy-spaces.html
A Few of My Favorite Sites. Here's my happy cupboard.I love putting things in jars of different sizes and types.and yes, that is *candy* in jars on the top shelf! Gummy bears and jelly beans. They are my current bribe tools and rewards for keeping Josiah on task and motivated in learning how to read. He read 3 BOB books today, and sounded things out in his head! Milestone.he got a gummy bear or jelly bean for each book he read. =). Now, just to maintain this uncluttered and peaceful zone. Last night at t...

The spell of spring | the little bird
https://thearosenburg.wordpress.com/2011/05/18/the-spell-of-spring
The spell of spring. Things are growing in our yard. We haven’t planted much yet, but there’s something bewitching about the sugar snap peas threading their way up the fence, and our strawberries emerged from hibernation looking perky and alert. A handful of pansies, a rosemary plant, spinach and beets in tiny-leafed infancy: little shoots of things are everywhere, and their exuberance is magnetic. I cannot stay away from the garden. The spell of spring is upon me. This entry was posted in Gardening.

The Fries' : White Christmas
http://thefriesfamily2012.blogspot.com/2015/02/white-christmas.html
Saturday, February 21, 2015. One of the local high schools put on a performance of White Christmas. Mom came to go to the show with us and our church family. TJ was supposed to join us, as was Tim, but TJ got a little stomach bug and had to stay home. I'm certain that Tim was disappointed! It was a fantastic show and the girls loved it! The Fries' : May 2014
http://thefriesfamily2012.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 2, 2014. We were able to celebrate our Risen King with our beloved church family followed by a couple hours with Tim's family. They wanted to pose this way.not sure why, but I see a TON of attitude here. The annual egg hunt that always ends with us having to pull out a map to find the eggs that were hidden and cannot be found. See any family resemblance here? The latest member of the family.isn't he precious! Mud ATV 11 year old= FUN! Every Easter Velma makes a german pastry called "Kuchen".

The Fries' : September 2014

Thursday, September 25, 2014. In the midst.it wasn't. In the darkness my heart hurts. For those measuring by perfection. I lie in my bed, listening to the steady drum of raindrops, the rythmic sound soothes my very soul. Today I mourned life ending, marriages crumbling, mother's precieved failings and all are screaming, thundering, begging to be seen. Seen in the standard, the light, the image of perfections. That no one has set. Shining light on the imperfect. All are shadows of what they "should" be.
