Wednesday, April 04, 2007. After several weekends with a multi-meter and several call to the factory I finally got the engine running. Firstly, the oil pressure. I always knew (from reading posts on the WSCC website) that oil pressure does not show until the engine starts and that priming the oil galleries by the pressure sender would help to show a pressure reading. So, that's what I did; now cranking the engine registered pressure - result! I was resigned to shipping the car to Westfield to resolve.

Friday, June 30, 2006. The engine is back in. Not all the wires reach where they need to. Anyway, what’s happened since last time? Well, having revisited the route of the fuel pipe I decided to move it so as it did not route through the wishbone, as can be seen in the photo. And here is is atached to the fuel tank. Thursday, April 27, 2006. Quickly drop in the engine. I've had to wait a couple of weeks to get some free time to put in the engine but last Sunday offered that opportunity. I had roped in a willing volunteer to help me. Once complete we could hoist the engine and drop it in to place. On the road to freedom. Dopo aver chiesto lumi sulla sabbiatura dei cerchi, ho deciso di procedere al rifacimento in maniera casalinga. Ho usato: sgrassatore Coop. Carta vetrata ( grossa e fine). Trapano con spazzola di ferro. Stucco antiruggine spray (per alte temperature). Vernice per cerchi spray. Una volta lavato il cerchio per bene e fatto asciugare, si presentava così.
