He Shall Direct Our Path. Monday, December 29, 2014. Please don't walk at night, we have lots of cougars, coyotes and bears around here! Huh No more night walking for us, I guess. The next day we walked to the main road and made it to the beach. We still had to skirt around many lakes and rivers along the way. The Washington coast is considered a highway- you can see all the tire tracks in the sand. Wet sand is perfect for sand castle building! No trips to the ocean with buckets to wet the sand down.

And So That's What She Did. Saturday, November 29, 2014. After spending Thanksgiving with my family in Newport we decided to spend another night at the beach just us and the kids. We drove up the coast trying to decide where we should stay. We ended up at an ideal little spot just off Ecola Creek at the end of Cannon Beach. I fell in love with this place and would gladly leave all of my belongings behind and live here. Sorry for the crooked pictures, it was a quick snap and either post it now or never.

Pinterest and I came up with two easy-to-do-supplies-on-hand craft projects.
