Tuesday, July 23, 2013. This is where the rubber meets the Happy Road! Enough of the gloom and doom, poor us and the big question of WHY our shop space didn't work out. And onto a new road filled with excitement again, hope and FUN! You can't kick these tires too many times.before they fill up with air and are ready to zoom! When the attitude changed.so did our LUCK! As we were leaving the house (5 am) our power went out. We contemplated rescheduling, but we put caution to the wind and forged ahead.

Monday, October 31, 2011. I picked up this parlour stove crown at my favourite antique/junk shop about 6 months ago. All this time I have been pondering how and where I will hang it. I finally decided how to hang it,. A few days ago I shared how I chose the second ugliest pallet boards. For this project I used the ugliest boards I had. Tuesday, March 11, 2014. GUINNESS Irish Soda Bread = Lucky Love. I have written in previous posts about the "combo platter" in life. And this would be one of those times! With an Irish Soda Bread recipe.BRILLIANT! It creates a combo of Brown Bread and Soda Bread which produces. A rich, dark, moist luscious loaf. 1 C regular rolled oats, plus additional. 2 C whole wheat flour. 1/2 C brown sugar. 2 t baking soda. 1 t baking powder. 1/4 C melted butter. 2 t vanilla extract. Grease an 8 x 8 inch baking pan.

Friday, August 30, 2013. Lucky Fruit Hand Pies. My last blog posting was all about the Bourbon on our recent Kentucky trip. But the one thing I left out was the Hand Pies! It was a Kentucky scorch of a day, we were tired and ready to head home.but then we spotted the tented booth."Homemade Fruit Hand Pies"! Well, the road could wait a few minutes.at least we thought. But when we got up to the line, with only one couple in front of us.we heard the vendor say,. And ordered a DOZEN! 2 Cherry Pies please"!

Tuesday, June 18, 2013. It was my LUCKY day! I came home to find a USPS note on our door stating that they had attempted to deliver a package while I was gone. Oh NO! But, to my surprise our wonderful mailman returned in the afternoon and YES it was my Vintage 1930's French Bottle Drying Rack from Bordeaux, France! I couldn't get the box opened fast enough to reveal all if it's zinc glory! WOWcan't wait to go back is all I have to say! This photo was taken during our country walk in a quaint French town.
