Darlene Pestreich was born and raised in Rosebud County, Montana. As a child she possessed a love for animals and art. Growing up in a rural area she had a lot of subjects with the many farm animals and wildlife around. She has always had many companion animals in her life. The 80’s was when she was introduced to oil paint and knew this was to be her medium of choice.
