I just haven't been able to carve out a lot of art time lately, but I'm diligently trying to restructure my life so that it can become a part of my every day. But I did get these 2 journal pages done this month. I wasn't happy with the quality of the paper in my previous journal, so I started over. So I re-did my blue page (what color makes you happy? As well as a 5x7ish mixed-media cover i made for another journal, "whispers of the heart," inspired by kelly rae roberts' book, taking flight. Saturday, February 6, 2010. Here is the lowdown! Justin, bought me a vintage 1974 Raleigh bicycle made in England. He had it rebuilt here in Denton at a local bike shop called BullsEye Bikes. I highly recommend them! I mentioned it to Justin. I go "that looks just like the bike I wanted" he grinned at me, handed me a key to the lock and said "lets go see if it unlocks it". I flipped! I think I might have said, I just dont know what to do with you! How blessed I am! Pics will be on their way soon!
