The National Alumnae Association of Spelman College (NAASC). Is the official organization that supports Spelman College. A historically black college for women, through financial gifts, student recruitment, sisterhood, community service and recognition of Spelman women. The Houston Chapter serves alumnae, students, and the community in the Houston metropolitan area. Develop working relationships with Houston-area college and career counselors, in addition to meeting with them in a general setting to provide updates regarding Spelman College that they can relay to their students. Increase prospective student and parent attendance at recruitment and show case events. Partner with other Atlanta University Center alumni chapters to host an annual trip to visit Spelman College and other AUC schools OR partner with an existing college tour group.
