I was doing my investigation to find agencies that will let single people adopt a child. The more I investigated, the more I saw agencies were giving children to single people, because they had the full support of family and friends. Because it's not God's plan? Who are they to know what God's plan is. What is the justification for it?

One thing I learned at a young age is that when people "leave" or abandoned you, for whatever reason, doesn't mean it's your fault or you did something wrong to cause them to leave. I'm sure we have all seen the Hollywood movies, when a kid is abandoned by a parent only to later find out by them that it wasn't their fault (the kid's fault). The kid, now is an adult, the adult doesn't allow himself or herself to know them (parent).
