Lightlyinspired: My little book project
http://lightlyinspired.blogspot.com/2011/05/my-little-book-project.html
Thursday, 19 May 2011. My little book project. I thought I would add a few projects that I have done lately, this is a little altered book I finished a few weeks back. I used a second hand book I found at an opportunity shop for .50 cents, the painted background was painted with acrylic paint, the chipboard gate is from Scrapware and the tree with the little bird house is also Scrapware, the gate was embossed with copper embossing powder. 19 May 2011 at 21:07. 20 May 2011 at 06:24. 21 May 2011 at 05:46.

Monday, 23 May 2011. When its cold you think about chocolate. Today it was cold and raining and I was looking for something to do indoors, I rummaged around in my stash and found an old chocolate box left over from Easter . I thought the box was quite natty the way it opened, so I had " saved it for a rainy day" ( sorry that was terrible ). 65279; In the center I used parts from an old belt , I had been hording along with some Kaisercraft pearls and Prima Vintage Trinkets. So what will I use it for?

Lightlyinspired: July 2011

Thursday, 21 July 2011. My latest DT Pack . To say I was just a wee bit excited about my new DT pack, would be a wee bit of an understatement. I'm not sure if it was a happy coincidence, or if my small obsession with butterflies was considered when my pack was chosen.but I was over the moon when I peaked in my pack. I painted the tray with a mix of Pine green and Australian red acrylic paint ( this mix gave it a deep charcoal grey colour). And I tore the edges of the clay for effect. I really loved makin...

Lightlyinspired: September 2011
http://lightlyinspired.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, 10 September 2011. Just a little scrappen. I spent yesterday trying to make a few pages happen, but ended up so frustrated as I simply couldn't get my head around, working with bright colours. I have new Photos of Holly laying on a bright green play mat and try as I might , I wasn't able to put a page together that pleased me. I wonder if other people struggle to make a layout when they are working in bright paper. It looks as though I had a bit of a circle theme going -. But thanks for visiting.

Lightlyinspired: All dressed up .....
http://lightlyinspired.blogspot.com/2011/05/i-am-decorating-these-dress-forms-as.html
Tuesday, 17 May 2011. All dressed up . I started out by applying air drying modeling paste to the top of the form ( you could use impasto, but I wanted the imprint of the stamping to be bolder) you don't need any special treatment for the modeling paste to adhere, its fine to use straight onto the form. Next I dressed the form with the Glitz Design Afternoon Muse paper and handmade paper flowers. 18 May 2011 at 17:23. This is just amazing! 21 May 2011 at 03:25. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, 20 April 2011. Created with Kaiser Nan's Kitchen and using a bent spoon as the handle (Yuri Geller eat your heart out) this little recipe folder proved to be a challenge. Not all mice are pests. I made this cute birthday card using the little field mouse stamp and pens. Monday, 11 April 2011. I received my first product from Hobbysew on Thursday and when I opened it was thrilled with all the beautiful goodies it contained. I scanned and printed off an old photo of my mother onto canvas and mou...

Lightlyinspired: August 2011
http://lightlyinspired.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, 6 August 2011. Here are two more projects , using the Collection Elements papers and transparencies. My Dad-Inlaw makes wooden toys and often makes me little things from left over scraps. This little bird house is one of his creations. I embossed the paper and lightly inked and glimmer misted. The chipboard was painted with black nail polish . yes nail polish. And I burnt the edges of the music sheet. I love the work from Altered Alchemy, the jewellery and wearable art is so wonderful. View my ...
