RHOTON: Spencer's Soccer Season !!

Spencer's fall soccer season came to a close last Saturday. His team improved a lot during the season and won their share of games. Spencer improved his skills a ton this year and hopes to play high school soccer. He became very aggressive in the last half of the season and was called for 3-4 times as many fouls as anyone else on the team (which is actually a good thing at least in Dad's opinion). Brynnley's newest hobby is playing hide and seek. As you can see in this picture she is getting pretty good, but hasn't quite perfected it yet. That is the funniest thing ever! She is so cute! A long day of soccer. Both boys had games in Cedar City on Saturday - we were up there all day long and we all have good sunburns to prove it. Sam's game was at 9:00 and it wasn't pretty. Our team went ahead 1-0 about 5 minutes into the game - too bad the game didn't end right then as we lost about 15-1 - we all stopped counting after about 7 so we don't know how bad it really was. Both boys started their regular seasons today. Sam played early this morning and his team won 3-1. They lost twice last year to the same team so apparently they have improved. Saturday, October 18, 2008. We've been slacking on the blogging, but this time of year our adventures tend to slow down a bit! While Jim has been jet setting to Missoula, Spokane, and Prince William Sound, I've been holding down the fort, teaching, and learning how to play the mandolin. I've got an amazing teacher who pushes me and teaches me much more than notes and chords. So you can see where his birds have gone. Until then, check out this link to stay up on current polls.
