Life at the Lovells. I always think that if I am going to blog it has to be about something. Well I am here to tell you not much goes on around here. Life at the Lovells. I love the Fourth of July! It is my favorite holiday. There is nothing better than good food, a warm summer night, and fireworks. I would take 100 Fourth of Julys over Christams any day. I hosted our 4th BBQ this year and we had quite a turn out. Jeff and I marinated chicken and everyone else brought a salad or dessert to share. It was awesome! Everyone had a nice time eating and visiting. Mom made her famous homemade ice cream and it is always so hard just to have one bowl.

Life at the Lovells. We had another great trip to Lava Hot Springs this year. It is always a highlight of the summer, and it is so nice to be with family for a few days. We did all our usual fun things like run the river, swim at the pool, go to the hot pools, and eat yummy food. That is a lot of people on one tube! Lydia rides with dad. Life at the Lovells. Water Balloons and Baking. Henry wasn't really on board with water ballooning so I figured it was a good day for him to learn a little bit of baking. Life at the Lovells. I know I should be grateful that I have a washer and dryer and that I don't have to wash my clothes in a creek. But I am getting tired of leaving my house and 10 minuets out thinking D@#N. I forgot to turn the washer off before I left the house. I am sitting here in my kitchen and it is too quite. Life at the Lovells. Shannnon had made up a cute bag for each family. Each grand kid had a two new swim suites and all of us had new water shoes and a cute t-shirt. Thanks grandma for the fun bag. Life at the Lovells. Lucy made her entrance into this world very quickly and very painfully, but I think out of all my birth experiences hers is my favorite. As Mandy says "I can picture Lucy inside knowing it was time to come out and being nervous. Finally she just closed her eyes and went for it.". Lucy is an artist.
