The 27th session of the Committee on Fisheries of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization, FAO, took place between 5 - 9 January 2007 at FAO Headquarters in Rome. One of the agenda items was " Strengthening Regional Fishery Management Organizations (RFMOs) and their performances". This calls for all RFMOs to undertake performance reviews.
