Lack of time and mostly terrible nails made it impossible. I'm still conscious of what I do to them as now have to little boys and I certainly don't want them to choke on a rhinestone. Arty Farty Nails :). Blog about doodling on nails :). Thursday, 14 March 2013. Have you seen spring? Check out my nails :). By using 3 colours and a makeup sponge create a gradient. Not as messy as you might think. 1) I've painted my whole nail light green - I've used China Glaze - Def Defying. 3) Again - once dry ish I used 3rd colour - Rimmel 198 Azure - and used sponge again but this time on the tip of the nail alone. 5) Made a flower with white polish, stick a rihnstone in the middle of the flower.

I kept looking at other designs thinking that it is tricky to do, and actually not as much as it seems - then again I guess my first attempt is well. first attempt and there is lots of room for improvement ;). For a tutorial you are best looking up on youtube, but have a look at the one I looked :) I think hers nails are just fab!

Tuesday, 15 January 2013. W7 Galaxy Metallics Swatches: Metallic Neptune. Today's post is a swatch of the next polish from the W7 Galaxy Metallics. Collection - Metallic Neptune. This is another great polish from this collection, a green and purple duochrome which is incredibly shiny! The pictures are without any top coat on. The colour is very rich and the formula applied well. I only needed two coats for these pictures. If you applied over black it would ensure you get a nice even coverage.

Friday, 25 January 2013. W7 Galaxy Metallics Swatches: Metallic Venus. So today brings the final post in the W7 Galaxy Metallics. Swatches and ooh boy did I save the best for last! Is a fabulous duochrome, with blues, golds, bronzes and purples in there! The change in colours under different lights is very pronounced in this one. I really couldn't stop looking at my nails and moving them about to see all the different colours when I had it on! At £1.99 with free p&p I believe.

Wednesday, 30 January 2013. One of my Christmas gifts was a lovely set of three mini polishes from Essie. From the winter collection. All of the colours are gorgeous and buying the set is a great way to try out the colours and save a bit of money! Although they are from the winter collection, Snap Happy. Just screamed Valentines Day to me! Is an orange-red creme that has a great formula that gave full coverage in two coats. To achieve this look I started out with a base coat of Sally Hansen Double Duty.
