I had an impacted 3rd molar tooth on the lower right jaw. This condition leads to another problem which is the formation of the 'operculum', which later cause 'pericoronitis'. Operculum is a 'flap-like' coverage formed by our gums which it partially covered our tooth. While pericoronitis is the inflammation of the gums surrounding the teeth.
