She was all cozied up on the couch the other day and I could NOT get her off of here for naptime. I had to drag her off! Easter Sunday Morning. Look at those scrawny arms! Love this girl.. Was Britta's phrase of the day.. Not a baby anymore- she's a real little girly girl! Ready for a nap before the Easter Egg Hunt.. My little Easter Bunny.. First egg of the hunt.. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Fun in the Sun. Our Florida Trip began with a 5:15 wake up for poor Britta. She was in such a daze riding to the airport in a taxi! But as soon as she got her pigtails in, she was revived! So much so that she nearly strangled her baby doll! Look at the craziness in here eyes! Passing the time in the airplane. The first run with headphones didn't last very long (long enough for a couple of pictures! Our first evening there- Ben was transformed into a dwarf "Grumpy" the trucker!

Wednesday, December 14, 2011. She's got real personality! Britta is really starting to show her personality. She is a hugger, kisser (on the lips), shoe tryer-on-er, incessant thank-er (for everything! Including when I change her diaper), jumper, and "Baby Jesus" lover. Just love this girl. We introduced the Fisher Price Nativity- it was all set up when she woke up yesterday (we had to do something fun while Daddy was on a work trip! She has been playing with it ever since! Friday, April 22, 2011. Had a great time today at our friend Katie's house at an Easter Party! Lots of kids, lots of spring colors, and a rare sighting of a whole family of baby bunnies! Here's Britta with all of her friends! I just had to post all of the pictures in sequential order because each one is SO FUNNY if you look closely! Thanks to the Hammetts for the cool "Snack Trap." I already love it. I even discovered how to hold the flap down and shake my treats all over the place! New York, New York.

Since Britta has decided not to fall asleep during naptime these days, we've had to be really creative with our time (Don't worry- she still stays in here room to "rest" for an hour and a half, but she doesn't fall asleep! She helped me shopping. or rather- tried to hide from me. She is a bookworm! She LOVES sitting in this big, comfy chair by herself and reading books.. And of course- eating snacks. Just looking cute- it's alot of work! Her face cracks me up here!

Thursday, May 24, 2012. 2 (1 pound) loaves frozen white bread dough (Rhodes). 1 1/4 c. sugar. 1/4 c packed brown sugar. 1/4 c milk (1% or more is best). 2 Tbls. butter/marg. 1 3/4 tsp. cinnamon. 1 Thaw bread dough in fridge for 12 hours. 1/4 c brown sugar. 1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. Bring to a boil and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat, cool 10 minutes. 3 Combine in shallow dish:. 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. 5 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Monday, May 7, 2012. Britta had a very exciting 2nd birthday! On the morning of her party, we MOVED into our new house! So that night we celebrated with both grandparents and her MN family. We had a few Minnie Mouse things since "Mimi" is just about her favorite thing in the world! As you can see from the picture below). Potato Head with lots of spare parts that mom and dad got from Disney! Awesome Little People House from Grandma and Grandpa Schmidt. And even a Shutterfly book made by Grandma!
