Is missing the piano. I’ve been really bothered by it for weeks now. I asked R to bring my Bach, Hanon, and Czerny and I have this longing feeling when I look at them. But, I can’t really play in this apartment. Thinking of maybe buying one on Gumtree, then keep it in a friend’s house until I find a better flat. To date, the following has happened:. We got our PR visa. exiting on 5th July and entering on the 14th. R has decided to come back. My brother in law and sister got their PR visas, too.

So since the crazy out of town fieldwork phase, i’m now on my 4th week back in brissie. and soon, i’m moving out of this apartment. sharing with my new gal pal J on the 4th floor. it will reduce my weekly rent by $110. can’t beat that. Went out today to buy steel toe boots for my 5-week gig to mine sites. borders (bookstore) has recently been put on ‘administration,’ i.e. it’s in the brink of bankruptcy, was having a sale today. all purchases tax free, and there are even 3 for 2 deals. books as low as 7 dollars, hardbounds for 15 dollars. steal. right? So i went in to have a look and see if there is anything i like. Yeah not buying stuff that you want, but don’t need. New plans for this year:. 8211; get australian driver’s license.

Went out and got my first pair of boots. Actually that was my second pair, because I got a pair of ankle boots yesterday to match the bag I bought at SYD airport. This pair. Was not my first choice, but being 190 dollars cheaper than the Nine West alternative I guess it’s all good. The online retail price has been reduced by 30% in store so it’s much cheaper than that.
