LOVE the entire series of books recounting the career of a country vet in Scotland in the early to mid 1900's. Each chapter is a new story, each one funny and amazing. It almost makes me want to go to Scotland and see if it's as friendly and beautiful as Herriot says it is. And the fact that this is autobiographical makes it even better!
