Thinking Out Loud: You've Got To Stand For Something......
http://thoughts-by-sissy.blogspot.com/2012/03/youve-got-to-stand-for-something.html
Monday, March 5, 2012. You've Got To Stand For Something. I was surfing the internet last night when I came across a video of an interview with CNN host Piers Morgan and Kirk Cameron, who was the star of the 80's sitcom "Growing Pains". In the interview, Cameron states, "One man, one woman for life till death do you part. . So do I support the idea of gay marriage? No, I don't.". No, I don't" into. Kirk Cameron hates gays.". It's time for all Christians and anyone else for that matter, to start standing ...

http://thoughts-by-sissy.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 5, 2011. With Christmas right around the corner, a lot of folks are starting to experience the stress of the season. There seems to be so much we need to do, yet so little time. We have parties to attend, shopping to get done, family gatherings to plan and a whole list of our regular day to day things that we must continue to do at the same time. Thinking Out Loud: April 2012
http://thoughts-by-sissy.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 26, 2012. In a world that exudes so much negativity, it can be a constant battle to maintain a positive mental attitude. Have you ever noticed how some people will always have something negative to say no matter how simple the situation may be? Someone can make a simple statement about how nice the weather is only to have someone else say something like, "Well, you better enjoy it because it's not going to last. Why? Why didn't they just say, "Yes, it is a beautiful day."?

Thinking Out Loud: A Life Of Purpose

Sunday, November 20, 2011. A Life Of Purpose. Do you ever see someone who you feel is doing so much with their life? And does it seem like you are sitting around trying to figure out just what it is that you need to be doing? What is your purpose? How do you figure it out? Where do you begin? I think many of us can relate to these questions. And if you're like me, you may get a little frustrated. Frustrated from feeling that you should be doing more. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Thinking Out Loud: October 2011
http://thoughts-by-sissy.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 22, 2011. Ever caught yourself playing the blame game with your spouse, kids, friends and even co-workers? I'm sure that most of us would say "yes" if we are being totally truthful. Why do we do this? Is it something that gets ingrained in us from toddlerhood? Was that when we first realized we could just blame a sibling, friend or good ol' Fido for something we did wrong and they would get in trouble instead of us? Well, my first response may be, "Well, I just forgot", but you can prob...
