The HMCS Cape Breton became an artificial reef on October 20, 2001 at 12:40 pm. She sits upright in 140' of water with a slight list to starboard. I had the pleasure of meeting and diving with Jackie Hildering (aka the Marine detective). I was just out the other day with my friend Pat who is recently certified and just getting into diving. Its great to see people keen to dive dive dive. In spite the name of the spot I did not see any octos but saw some signs.

After a spectacular week the weather finally changed on us and rained the last day with Beat and Bill. The vis is still poor under 70 at 15 feet although it is clearing in the sub 20 foot zone to almost 40. Im am posting a group of shots taken yesterday showing just a bit of the life we saw.
