Sunday, April 26, 2015. Good People, Good Times. This weekend was a great reminder of how blessed we are to have so many amazing people in our lives. As a family, we had friends visit from Kansas City, hung out with the KA, and got to watch the hockey game today with a mix of friends from church and Rolla, who happen to be neighbors (go figure! I also got to spend some quality time with my friend Mandi and her newborn son Nolan. Here are a few of my favorite photos of the weekend. Family Fun at the Nances.

Sunday, April 19, 2015. The fun part is here! The basement concrete work is complete and now it's time for the fun part! Fun, because the next steps are above ground and will go much faster. And fun because who doesn't like steel construction? Steel columns and beams were set on Friday. This week they are supposed to put down the steel deck which will support the garage slab and also backfill the soil around the basement walls. Forecast show four days of no rain! Thursday, June 25, 2015. Construction is going well. As of now, the 2nd Floor HVAC, 2nd Floor Insulation, built-ins and some drywall has been installed. The framers are finished with all framing inside the house and just need to finish up siding a few areas of the exterior. Other things still to come:. Lots of drywall hung by yours truly :). Bonus room in upstairs. Doorway beyond leads to new bedroom. (New bookcases made by my Marc, they look great! New bedroom upstairs with closet. I love the front door!
