Wednesday, August 25, 2010. An anniversary and future plans. Today is my chemo anniversary. It's been three weeks since my last treatment, which means, were I still in treatment, I would have had one today. But I'm not, so I don't, and I am just hugging myself with the joy of that not being the case. I've got some solid sprouts on my head too - also cause for celebration. Were Sean here [more subjunctive! BUT I meet him on the Georgia coast on Friday for a full week vacation. Hooray!

Sunday, October 10, 2010. Even the NFL does it. Did you watch football today? I'm married to Sean, so I did, and it's hot pink everywhere. It's for breast cancer, yee-ah! And it's hot pink, not pepto-pink, which I also like. Also, Atlanta won, which is a nice touch too. Even more good news: we just spent a week in Europe for an awesome wedding. Take that, cancer! So, we were hoping for done, but we'll have to wait a bit longer for that. The worse is over though, I'm convinced. See also: Sean's page.

Tonight i stood in my kitchen with my bitty girl high on one shoulder right where she likes to be alternating between stirring the dinner i was making for my sweet tiny family and sipping a delicious glass of red wine.
