The Writing Blog of LEE HOUSTON, JUNIOR. Sunday, January 25, 2015. PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING JANUARY 24, 2015. Ah there's VERY good news this week! I have solved my exposition versus action problems, thus eliminating a lot of the "blah blahs" that my esteemed, friendly neighborhood beta/proofreader Nancy Hansen. Thought was weighing down Chapter 13 to ALPHA, BOOK 2: WAYWARD SON. Chapters worth of material, and maybe even at least part of a fifth! One man's balancing act. Don't you just love puns?

The Writing Blog of LEE HOUSTON, JUNIOR. Sunday, March 29, 2015. PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING MARCH 28, 2015. Okay folks. I've got a lot going on right now, so I definitely feel like this poor fellow to the left of the text, on a tricky tight rope to traverse. On one hand, ALPHA, BOOK 2: WAYWARD SON is going well. Still in-between the recently revised Chapter 15 and what will now be Chapter 16. My friendly neighborhood beta/proofreader Nancy Hansen. Meanwhile, out of the blue. I've been invited to contri...

January 17, 2000 was my first carving day.). I figured out that I really only need three cooking knives. A chef’s knife, a fillet knife and a bread knife. If I was cooking for more than myself, or changed my diet, or started entertaining, the other knives would be needed. But not right now. As we were getting into the car at one ...

Story wise, it has been a year since the conclusion of the first Rizzoli and Isles novel The Surgeon. As established in my review. For another, ...

FILLING BLANK SPACES: April 2015
http://leehoustonjr.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
The Writing Blog of LEE HOUSTON, JUNIOR. Sunday, April 26, 2015. PROGRESS REPORT: WEEK ENDING APRIL 25, 2015. Writers write, so do authors auth? Seriously, is the difference between the two terms just a question of prestige, or is it something more? I'm at my computer every moment I can possibly be when I'm not dealing with the other needs and prerequisites of life like sleeping, shopping, house cleaning, etc. Yet no matter what I do, sometimes it just doesn't seem like enough. Do authors have the luxury...
