Mirror mirror on the wall...: Lessons my baby taught me ....
http://ashwinsmirror.blogspot.com/2014/07/lessons-my-baby-taught-me.html
Mirror mirror on the wall. Monday, July 28, 2014. Lessons my baby taught me . On the 25th of July 2014 I became a father. It is and will remain the first emotionally profound experience in my life, beating even the hormonal giddiness of first love. I realised how fragile life is when I first held my son. He was all of 2 hours old and all he could do by himself was breathe! Even suckling milk effectively had to be learnt over a period of an agonising 5 - 6 tries spanning 18 hours or so.

Mirror mirror on the wall...: February 2009
http://ashwinsmirror.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Mirror mirror on the wall. Saturday, February 7, 2009. Well after reading the amazing parodies written by shilpa. On their respective blogs here is a chance to write my own. I was listening to the song khabar nahin khabar nahin from dostana ( a rarity in itself since I am not normally into songs from bollywood ) and the flow of the lyris and all was such that it hit me. This song can be meant for a phd student. so here goes. The original song :. Mere Maula Maula Mere Maula, Man Matwala Kyun Hua Hua Re.

Mirror mirror on the wall...: Horoscopy or the road to moronic marriages and crappy catastrophies part IV

Mirror mirror on the wall. Friday, September 18, 2009. Horoscopy or the road to moronic marriages and crappy catastrophies part IV. This piece of the discussion is about how people apply astrology. Astrology is applied to a few if not all important decisions in the life of human beings. Astrology is used to :. A predict the future ( but we can consider that prediction with astrology has yet to make sense to anyone except astrologers ). B Arrange a marriage or Moronic marraiges. NOW we're talking. So now ...

Mirror mirror on the wall...: Horoscopy or the road to moronic marriages and crappy catastrophies part V

Mirror mirror on the wall. Sunday, September 20, 2009. Horoscopy or the road to moronic marriages and crappy catastrophies part V. Ok we finally come to the end of this long winded discussion. I think I have successfully painted a picture of horoscopy as nothing better than a hobby. But there is something as to why people still use it. Why so many people still need to use random calculations to justify their lot in life. The answer is twofold. Mayans were amazing astronomers, there is no doubting that bu...

Points to ponder !!: We The People
http://swarup-freaking-out.blogspot.com/2009/01/we-people.html
Lately its been chill time in my life here in Charlotte, specially with the summer drawing along, with no classes and just an 8-5 job. One more thing observed during summer is that lot of people come and meet you (may be to while away their time or may be mine). This gave me an opportunity to start a new activity; analyzing people :-) . to while away my time. Anyways, in short, this person hitch hiked from one state (East Coast) to another state (Mid-West) in the US of A! I guess this is an immensely vas...

Points to ponder !!: Wish You Were Here
http://swarup-freaking-out.blogspot.com/2009/01/wish-you-were-here.html
Wish You Were Here. So, so you think you can tell. Heaven from hell,. Blue skies from pain,. Can you tell a green field,. From a cold steel rail,. A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? So, so you think we can change,. Everybody that hates,. Before it's too late? So proud to be free,. But who could we blame? Don't be ashamed,. Do you think we can change? How I wish, how I Wish You Were Here. We were, two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year. Running over the same old ground,. As I ...

The man who grew young. His mom would be speechless quite contradictory to what all of us fear, this young man was fearing to be born again. Adam grew younger day by day and finally there came a period when he had to be fed by his mother. Now you've been up and you've been down, you've stayed strong even though daddy wasn't around. My momma, through the thick and the thin, beginning to end. It's unconditional how the sun shines, when I see a smile on ya face. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The man who grew ...

One of those days! Filed Under: Change in seasons. I was really confused when I first came up with this quote. I put it on Orkut on my profile and I received many scraps from my friends asking me what that meant. I was clueless and did not know what it meant. So I asked my roomies the following question, "What comes to your mind when I say. One of those days? I bet everyone misses these days. Smile at someone you know. I contrast, we as kids used to start playing with any damn kid we found. Don't let you...
