Moving in during early spring is kind of crazy because so much happens to set up the garden season during March and April in the Pacific NW. So, I've been trying to get out every dry day (even though it has been unseasonably cool this March) and get a few beds planted. In an effort to stay on track to have an urban farm, we went to the Urban Farm Store.

I know it seems that tying a dog up to a bike for 4 hours is not the best choice, but you really shouldn't judge if you don't know the whole story. Approximately 30 hours ago, 10 (yes ten! Shiny Nickel and J. The ongoings of . Monday, May 30, 2011. Almost to the end. It is almost the end of the never ending Winter-Spring term. So swamped. And so tired of a very wet and cold spring. But we are finally healthy (no more ear infections or strep) and are pretty happy. I guess you can't ask for much more. Note that what looks like hair to me and you is only hair about 50% of the time. the other times it is clearly arms and legs. I love how the 3-year old thinks. Colter and Kelsie Marshall.

Shiny Nickel and J. The ongoings of . Saturday, April 14, 2012. Survived the First Month. I can't believe Little A is a month old today! We seem to have finally turned a corner on the night vs day mix up around here. Two nights ago was the first night we didn't have a 90 minute party at 3ish in the morning - we made it all the way to 5! It will always amaze me how much sleep a newborn needs and yet the rest of the family can feel so tired! What a sweet photo, Nicole; he is just a lovely baby!

On more frustrating notes, we've been fighting a yeast rash for 2 weeks; hopefully a prescription antifungal will help us kick it once and for all. His rolling efforts also made it frustrating and possibly dangerous to swaddle him; removing the swaddle has utterly wrecked his sleep both during the day and night.
