Nan and Bear on the Road. Southern Comfort takes us on the road. Sunday, September 25, 2011. Nan and Bear on the Road to Panama City. There is a beautiful State park just below Panama City. So I checked in and called my grandson that I had arrived. It is a park that is located on a lagoon. Great views where ever you looked. My grandson Ben, Great grandson Edward and mother Charity. Bear made sure Ben stayed on the couch just as he did when Ben was little. Great Grandma of course had to hold Edward some.

There are so many beautiful, gorgeous, wonderful mountains, what can you say other than oooooo and ahhhh? Not the low lying clouds around this mountain. Mile after mile of beautiful mountains. You think you have seen the most beautiful and another pops up. You can begin to see some color change here. Love driving towards this one. A community garden in Jasper.

Drove over 400 miles today, including an out-of-the-way trip to Anchorage to have my tires balanced. I don't know why Toyota in Fairbanks, who rotated them yesterday, put them back on unbalanced!
