Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Surprise, Surprise, Surprise, City Approves Cycle Tracks. To the surprise of no one Calgary City Council has approved downtown cycle tracks, albeit in a slim 8-7 vote. So let's examine some of what happened and some of the outcomes from that debate and vote. The foregoing was easy to explain, now let's look at the supposed anomalies. Bottom line, this flip/flop may come back to haunt Chabot in the next election, time will tell. The next steps are not so clear. I'm in Playa del Ca...

Last year a little boy named Hayden drowned at. WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED WITH THE TOILET, CLOSE THE TOILET COMPLETELY – EVERYONE – 2 things will happen: 1. minimize poo/pee particles when flushing; 2. close the UP/DOWN debate once and for all! Sunday, October 30, 2011. The Sweet Smell of Pork in Alberta. Just arrived back in Calgary from the Sultanate of Oman. I was out of Canada since September 5 th. Thursday, May 17, 2012. Calgary Arts Community about to be Screwed Over by Nenshi. Art along the West LRT will be lost in a Purple Haze! Watch the bait and switch as this Mayor, who ro...

Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Will the Real Danielle Smith Please Stand Up. Recently defeated in the Alberta Provincial Election, having snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory, Danielle Smith is now making a tour of the media explaining away the outcome. This morning on CBC Radio, Smith was heard to say and I paraphrase "In the future we will only go as far as Albertans are willing to go", in reference to policy within the Wildrose Party such as 'conscience politics'. This tells me that the hard pol...
