Sunday, August 18, 2013. First Day of School. The boys headed back to school on August 1st. For some reason, this year seemed to be a harder year on dear old mom. Perhaps the grades the boys are in made then seem so much older. This sweet little face is now seen at ECHS.yes, that means high school. The Day Before School. The day before school started, Jason took the day off work so that we could spend a fun day with the boys. Jacob had wanted to go bowling ALL summer, so we headed to the bowling alley.

Sunday, July 6, 2014. Smoky Mountains December 2013. Jason and I picked the boys up from their last day of school before Christmas break and we hit the road for the Smoky Mountains. We were going with my family and they had all left earlier in the day. (Jacob had perfect attendance up until that point, so we didn't want to mess that up. He kept perfect attendance until the next to last week of school and had to miss for strep throat! I told him from now on we weren't even trying! Dad and Aunt Loretta.

Tuesday, July 16, 2013. On Saturday, we traveled to Butler County for a baseball tournament. Needless to say, it was hotter than blue blazes! Matthew and I didn't last two innings until we packed our bags and headed back for the shade tree. UGH! The next game was on the other field and at least the sun was to our backs. Jacob pitched the entire second game against Butler County 9U. He did great pitching and only struck out the first time the first time at bat. We played a wonderful game! I LOVE this shot.

Today is the 4th anniversary of. I was a first responder at the time. I got him to let me put oxygen on him. It helped only slightly. His sister Debbie came by. She stayed with him about an hour. He enjoyed her visit. Late that night tests were done and very large blood clots were found in both legs. Not good news! I love all y'all!
