University Blog: Artefact 4: 3D Phillip
http://dianacmjones.blogspot.com/2013/05/artefact-4-3d-phillip.html
Thursday, 2 May 2013. Artefact 4: 3D Phillip. Going back to my research question, I needed to explore character design and how it travels through the production pipeline. I had heard that some character designs can be changed in production to suit the modellor's, director's and animator's needs. Where as some designs are especially sought out, and the whole pipeline is based around them. I started thinking about how to create Phillip and what shapes to start from. Diana C M Jones. University Blog: Artefact 3: The long and Short of it
http://dianacmjones.blogspot.com/2013/05/artefact-3-long-and-short-of-it.html
Thursday, 2 May 2013. Artefact 3: The long and Short of it. For my third artefact I wanted to look in to working personality in to body shapes. Shapes show hidden personalities to the audience, as we associate shapes with types of people. It was decided to have; one short and morose and the other tall and attention-seeking. This would show comparison between the two, which will also increases the contrast between them as well. Diana C M Jones. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Diana C M Jones.
University Blog: 3: Results
http://dianacmjones.blogspot.com/2013/05/3-results.html
Thursday, 2 May 2013. In the creation of this artefact I entered with the intentions to create characters with a visual personality through shapes. I wanted to place them in contrast to their opposite personality. The contrast would deepen their visual personality. During this artefact I have created two characters. Their personalities are not entirely contrasted, however I feel that they still do the job. These characters are Phillip the Morose and Joffrey the Confident/Arrogant. Diana C M Jones.

University Blog: Final Piece
http://dianacmjones.blogspot.com/2013/04/final-piece.html
Monday, 29 April 2013. This is bit of a late update. But the external client project was finished by myself and Natasha. We feel that it was quite successful. I feel that given more time in production, instead of planning, we could have made the video more interactive and fun for children. I feel that it turned out quite well. It stuck quite well to Natasha's original visualisation. Here is a link to the final product on Natasha's video account: click here. Diana C M Jones. Diana C M Jones.

University Blog: The End
http://dianacmjones.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-end.html
Friday, 24 January 2014. So I have graduated from University with a 2:1. I'm very impressed by that, as I honestly thought that my written work was at a lower quality than that. However, the grade has been decided, and quite frankly I'm not going to argue with it. Just so you know, I am abandoning this blog now. I've started a new one for `after` Uni work. I'll be using it as a portfolio. Diana C M Jones. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Diana C M Jones. Grantham, United Kingdom. Someone got a 2:1.

Naomi Kooker
Welcome to Naomi Kooker's blog. At age 6 my mother let me into the kitchen, alone. By seventh grade I was feigning sick to stay home from school, "miraculously" feeling good enough to make baked-stuffed pork chops for dinner. My passion for cooking led me to a job as a sous chef in a Manhattan restaurant and, later, to stand quietly in the corner. Of (and eventually do one thing in) Restaurant Guy Savoy. It all worked out in the end. It always does. Sunday, June 21, 2015. 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour.

Some movies I recommend watching to get the idea of America, and that you can talk about with people. 1 Legally Blond-It's about a "blond" going to Harvard and getting a law degree. A bit preppy but really good movie and proves that "blonds" are able to be smart lol. 2 Mean Girls-Getting revenge on "plastics"(popular girls) by joining them and eventually being one of them. Kinda shows what high school is like only a bit exaggerated. Difference between u.s. and japan. How to make smores. 1 or 2 graham cra...
