Naomi McDougall Jones: Theater Festivals and Films!
http://naomimcdougalljones.blogspot.com/2012/02/theater-festivals-and-films.html
Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Theater Festivals and Films! We're also in high gear, heading up to pre-production on the film I wrote and am acting in, Under Her Skin. We are in a fundraising frenzy and interviewing all sorts of crew members, working with our team of producers, getting advice from all sorts of people left, right, and center. We've also just released the breakdown for name actors for some of the smaller roles and have already gotten some pretty big bites. All wonderfully exciting!
Naomi McDougall Jones: December 2011
http://naomimcdougalljones.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 8, 2011. I am even more behind than usual on this. Fortunately, it's because of a spate of opportunities that have been eating up all of my time. Other than that, I have have mostly been working on my own project, a feature film that I wrote and am acting in, called Under Her Skin. I also look forward this month to the pleasure of working with many old classmates of mine on the film Indigo. And, check out of the season finale of Boardwalk Empire. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, March 15, 2011. News, news, news. First of all, I'm very excited to have been asked to be a part of a very cool show going up at the the HERE Arts Center in April. It's called Hyperfable. You can find more details about the show here, http:/ here.org/shows/detail/567/. Which Caitlin Gold (who I co-produced Corrupting the Classics. All good things :-).

http://naomimcdougalljones.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. Plays and movies and trailers, oh my! I am happy to report that I have just wrapped shooting for Kazumi Sunada's Offal and Weeds. At the end of July, I had the great good fortune of working on a play written by the ridiculously talented, Jeff Ronan (who I got to first work with on Stunods. I also realize that I failed to report that I recently got my long time wish to work with director Colin Rivera (you should check out his film The End of Something. A hilarious web series I p...

If my job has only taught me only one thing, that one thing is: Don’t cry over spilled milk. I have pondered the phrase ever since I first heard it. Since starting my job, (I am an assistant teacher at a daycare) I now know the true meaning behind that phrase. The meaning is….wait for it…. Don’t cry over spilled milk. Subtle I know, I almost missed it too. ;). When it’s lunch time in a room chock-full of three year olds, milk gets spilled. It’s not the end of the world. Who first said this? This saying s...

Friday, June 28, 2013. The last year of my life (or how we wrangled a feature film into existence, I got married, and then found myself in an existential crisis). I'll admit that I was absolutely shocked to open this just now and realize that it's been almost a full year since I last posted! My life has been so full of films and, well, life, that I apparently let this get entirely away from me. So let me try to explain what has happened to me since I last wrote. Of 2013 were terrifying months. They w...

Naomi McFadden - Makeup Artist. Things I love, things that inspire me, things I do. Sunday, 17 February 2013. Naomi McFadden - Makeup Artist. I worked on the 'trend' pages for the latest issue of Catalogue Magazine. One of the trends we focused on was Sci-Fi. I created this look using M.A.C pigment in Magenta Madness. Use a mixing medium, preferably non alcoholic based for around the eye area, or even use water to create the bold effect and keep the pigment steadfast. Naomi McFadden - Makeup Artist.

FAILE: Savage/Sacred Young Minds. I visited the FAILE: Savage/Sacred Young Minds exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in New York in August 2015. The name FAILE is an anagram of A Life, and is a collaboration between Brooklyn based artists Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller. The works on show included sculpture, multimedia installations, large scale screen-prints and paintings. Ceramic Relief tiles from above piece. On our market research trip to Dublin we visited the fabric shop TWI. There was so many d...
