Tuesday, February 19, 2008. I Love You* but you drive me nuts. There is lots of buzz going around about Jon and Kate Gosselin. Coming to Elk Creek Church on March 30th. We have over 300 ticket requests already and we still have over a month to go before the event. I have no idea how many people…If I had to guess, I would say 3,000-3,500. A HUGE THANK YOU. To everyone that volunteered. From the set up team…to the registration table…to the Fire Police…to the people serving drinks…and anyone in between… You guys were awesome! Today made me very proud to be part of Elk Creek Church. Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Yo Fatheads.Look Who's in the Boat! I was reading Mark 8:14-21. Take a minute and read it before you read on. It's amazing to me how quickly the disciples forgot what Jesus did with a few loaves of bread and a couple of fish. Not just once, but two separate times. They are in the boat with the one that feed 9,000 men all the woman and children. There had to be at least 27,000 people. In total that Jesus feed with just 12 loaves of bread. Are you kidding me? I spent some time this afternoon writing out my goals for 2009. I wrote out 2-3 goals under 4 different categories. The categories that I used are Personal goals. And Goals on steroids.
