An outstanding Margaret River v Coonawarra cabernet tasting. I attended recently a wonderful benchmarking exercise of Margaret River and Coonawarra cabernet sauvignon and cabernet blends. A number out. A couple of Victorian pinot noirs. There are so many interesting styles of pinot noir coming out of Victoria at the moment. I would be curious to see the latest planting stat. A couple of 2012 Bordeaux (Sénéjac and Lilian Ladouys) and an Orange merlot (Gartelmann). Topper's Mountain Red Earth Child 2012.
