Nap Time Bakery: Dora the Explorer Cake
http://naptimebakery.blogspot.com/2011/03/dora-explorer-cake.html
Friday, March 25, 2011. Dora the Explorer Cake. We can't wait to celebrate her birthday tomorrow with our Dora Adventure Party! Since she is all girly girl, I made a strawberry cake covered in strawberry butter cream so it will be all pink when we cut into it. The bottom layer is a dummy cake since our party will be rather small. The flowers, trees, letters, stars, and grass is made out of gum paste and everything else is fondant. Nap Time Bakery: One year!!
http://naptimebakery.blogspot.com/2011/05/one-year.html
Saturday, May 7, 2011. My baby just turned one! I can't even believe how fast time slips away in that first year of life. I wanted him to have a puppy cake since he reminds me of a little puppy. When I give him kisses, he licks my face, he crawls behind me following through the house, he lights up when you walk into the room, and of course he is so sweet. May 7, 2011 at 4:32 PM. What a gorgeous cake! LuJean and I are impressed all over again! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Die Hard Fan Cake. For the Super Bowl I had a small party and so I thought it would be fun to serve a cake. We are not true blue Colts fans, but we are certainly not Saints fans, so I decided to make a Colts cake. Our friends are die hard fans so I also made them one to serve at their party. All the decor on the cake is made from fondant. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). This is a blog where I can showcase my new love and hobby of making and decorating cakes!

Nap Time Bakery: Baby Boy Blessing Cake
http://naptimebakery.blogspot.com/2011/02/baby-boy-blessing-cake.html
Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Baby Boy Blessing Cake. My friend just blessed her sweet baby last Sunday and was nice enough to let me force a cake onto her. I have been learning to make roses without molds and wanted to throw them onto a cake. Here it is. The fondant is Wilton Fondant. So much harder to roll out, but it looks so much cleaner than my homemade mm fondant. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Nap Time Bakery: August 2009
http://naptimebakery.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 8, 2009. My friend 's daughter turned 16 and they made her party extra special for her. They had a Hawaiian theme with beach sheet cakes, tons of guests, authentic dancers, and good food. The birthday girl wanted her own personal cake and that's where I came in. Aloha! Thursday, August 6, 2009. For Father's Day I mad my fabulous hubby a fish. He is an excellent fly fisherman and he has caught fish that are bigger than this cake! As sisters, we try to get together for each other's birthda...

Nap Time Bakery: January 2011
http://naptimebakery.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 1, 2011. It has been a long time since I have posted a cake! I know I've done some, but I didn't take any pictures. Shame on me! My 4 year old son helped me make the fondant cookies on the tray, how cute is that? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
