Naptime Studios: 04/25/07
http://naptimestudios.blogspot.com/2007_04_25_archive.html
Dedicated to the smallest bit of art making, in the smallest spare moments available. Wednesday, April 25, 2007. My evening "work" for weeks has been that on the computer. We decided to get an Au Pair, and so I have been pouring through applications and emailing and calling women from all over the world. The process is time consuming, and very fun and exciting, but I can only do it at night, when I have undivided attention to give to this task. We look forward to her arrival. Naptime Studios: Cola Aprons!
http://naptimestudios.blogspot.com/2008/01/cola-aprons.html
Dedicated to the smallest bit of art making, in the smallest spare moments available. Thursday, January 24, 2008. Was looking through an antique mall last weekend this was among my many cool finds. It is a cola apron pattern. who would have thought? It was tucked into a package of iron-on transfers from the 40's that were used as pattterns for embroidery on such items as teach towels and napkins and other household things. (I will add some images of them next). Anyway, this little ad was too funny.
Naptime Studios: New encaustic paintings...
http://naptimestudios.blogspot.com/2008/02/new-encaustic-paintings.html
Dedicated to the smallest bit of art making, in the smallest spare moments available. Friday, February 15, 2008. I finally dug in my heels and pulled out all of the encaustic supplies I purchased last year. I did one painting about a year ago, it went well, and gave me new appreciation for encaustic painters. My first attempt was small and basic, but I liked it and good friends of mine liked it so well it now hangs in their home! Here it is. "Memory Chest" 12 " x 12" on birch panel. in the silence of naptime
Saturday, August 15, 2015. Emily at the Fair (4-H portion). Emily was very excited when she found out that this year she was old enough to be part of the Clover Kids 4-H program (5-7 year olds as of January 1st). She enjoyed getting to join in the activities at the 4-H meetings, and then when it was fair time, that meant she got to bring something to the fair for 4-H! She was very proud to see her horse on display with the other Clover Kids exhibits. Posted by Megan B. Friday, August 14, 2015. This was M...

Naptime Stitching..........
Friday, 31 July 2015. Fabric range was mostly Best Day Ever by April Rosenthal and it was a super day when I finally finished this and got to use it! And I'm in love with it. The colours are just happy and lively! Exactly what I wanted! My 11yr old picked the backing and binding colour.turns out he has a pretty good eye! I had planned some scattered hexies on the back but they didn't look right so it's ended up plain. But I might add some larger ones at a later date! Isn't it so pretty and totally girlie?

Naptime Studios Quilts
Friday, July 15, 2011. Just because it's gorgeous. Links to this post. Thursday, March 10, 2011. All Done on All Hallow's Eve. This finally finished quilt top waved free in the crisp fall air on Halloween way back in 2010. I began this project in April of that long-ago year, after a somewhat focused hour-long trip to FABRIC DEPOT! Because one totally needs a shopping cart in a fabric store, am I right? I'd midway through given this quilt the rather fussy name: Rube Goldberg's Variation. Links to this post.
Naptime Tales
Thursday, August 6, 2015. Back to School - Car Pool Tips. Since we have SO MUCH free time during 'nap time' and after the kids go to bed, we like to make a little pocket change off our blog posts occasionally.to afford lip gloss, wine, and boots=) So FYI this post is sponsored by Burlington and there are some affiliate links. Maybe I'll feel different about the bus as we get more settled in here and the first day of school approaches. I think possibly an even better solution for us will eventually be...

Nap time is my NEW happy hour
Nap time is my NEW happy hour. Monday, June 1, 2015. I can't believe we are pretty much half way through this pregnancy! So soon to finding out the gender. Here's my weekly updates for weeks 17-19. Yes But still squeezing into my non maternity pants and shorts. A good long Memorial Day weekend! Still getting a little sick every now and then and being so exhausted some days. I feel like I'm literally just putting one foot in front of the other to get by. I have to have it! Still both every now and then.
